The College of Teacher Education (CTE) at Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges in General Santos City is committed to developing highly competent, reflective, and globally minded educators who serve as lifelong learners and active community leaders. Operational Mission

To attain this vision, the College of Teacher Educations' mission is to provide a high-quality, comprehensive and meaningful education to empower all students to apply their acquired skills and knowledge and to rely upon their personal attributes to succeed within the bounds of their abilities and chosen educational goals to lead productive lives and become contributors of development to the community.

  • Design effective instructional materials for comprehensive learning to meet the challenges of an increasingly knowledge-conscious and information-focused society.
  • Provide students with research competencies and skills needed for higher learning.
  • Establish a culture of community services with partner institutions to demonstrate among students, social responsibility and concern for the disadvantaged.
  • Have meaningful and comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter they will teach (including curriculum development, lesson planning, materials development, educational assessment, and teaching approaches) and the role of the teacher in facilitating these processes in their students.   • Have creativity and innovation in applying alternative teaching approaches while demonstrating a basic and higher level of literacy, communication, numeracy, critical thinking, and learning skills to include research skills needed for higher learning. (PSYCHOMOTOR/SKILLS)
