What is ETEEAP?

The Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) is an educational assessment scheme that recognizes knowledge, skills, and prior learning obtained by working individuals from non-formal/informal training and relevant employment experiences.

Through competency-based evaluation and comprehensive assessment methodologies (written tests, interviews, skills demonstration, and portfolio review), qualified professionals can earn a formal college degree.

Qualification Criteria

  • Must be a Filipino citizen.
  • At least twenty-three (23) years old from the date of application.
  • Completed secondary education (High School Diploma, ALS Accreditation, or PEPT).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience related to the degree pursued.

ETEEAP Admission Process

STEP 01

Inquiry & Orientation

Visit or email the ETEEAP Desk to receive initial guidance on program equivalencies.

Submission & Verification

Submit original copies of initial documentary requirements tabbed in a long brown folder.

Initial Assessment & Test

Undergo initial screening tests and preliminary background verification.

Payment of Assessment Fees

Settle the required official assessment fees at the Cashier counter.

Formal assessment panel review using your 5-set portfolio, interview, and panel exam.

Receive official panel approval and finalize enrollment into accredited subject modules.

Initial Screening Documents

Note: Submit original copies tabbed in a long brown folder (except Item F: Photocopy only).

  • A. Transcript of Records with remarks "COPY FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES ONLY" (if College Level) or Form 138/137 (if High School Graduate).
  • B. Honorable Dismissal (if previously enrolled in college).
  • C. Certificate of Good Moral Character.
  • D. PSA Birth Certificate.
  • E. Certificate of Employment with detailed Job Descriptions or Official Service Record.
  • F. Certificate of Seminars, Trainings, Workshops attended or conducted (Photocopy only).

Competency Assessment Portfolio

Note: Must be tabbed inside a long blue clearbook (Portfolio) prepared in 5 complete sets.

  • B. Detailed Resume / Curriculum Vitae
  • C. Certificate of Employment / Employment Contract / Service Records
  • D. Detailed Job Descriptions
  • E. Eligibility Certificates (attach as many as possible)
