Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Science
The Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science (BSEd-Science) is a four-year degree program designed to equip future educators with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to teach science effectively at the secondary level. It provides a strong foundation in both the content and pedagogy of the sciences. The curriculum includes core courses in biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, and environmental science, integrated with professional education subjects such as curriculum development, assessment, research, and science teaching methods. Field study and student teaching are key components of the program, offering real-world teaching experience.
