The RMMC BLIS Program in vision to develop the next generation of diverse library and information professionals as visionary leaders that supports and respect diverse population in a fast changing, technologically advanced, and community-oriented global environment.
MISSION
RMMC's Bachelor of Library and Information Science program offers a student-centered curriculum that combines excellent instruction, leadership, and scholarship in General Santos City and beyond. In order to take advantage of the increasing opportunities to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion and engage with the global information society, we prepare knowledgeable and responsible library and information professionals.
GOALS
1. The program will offer top-notch instruction suitable for postgraduate and graduate professional levels.
2. Provide students access to modern IT environments, tools, services, and facilities.
3. Encourage the use of library and information technology, both established and emerging, in professional research, education, and service endeavors.
4. Provide opportunities for professional growth both inside and beyond the college.
