Vision

Our vision is to cultivate graduates of the Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education Program who possess enhanced potential through national, global, and intercultural perspectives. We aim to develop responsible citizens and lifelong learners who are well-prepared for career growth while actively promoting and preserving the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Philippines.

Goals

1. Foster the development of effective and comprehensive educational resources: The program aims to create and utilize educational resources that align with the evolving demands of a society that is increasingly focused on information and knowledge. These resources will enable students to engage with relevant and up-to-date content, facilitating their learning and growth.

2. Enhance students' research abilities and skills for further education:
The program strives to equip students with strong research abilities and skills, providing them with a solid foundation for pursuing advanced studies in the field of culture and arts education. By nurturing their research capabilities, students will be better prepared to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and innovation in their chosen disciplines.

3. Cultivate social responsibility and compassion for the underprivileged:
The program seeks to instill in students a sense of social responsibility and empathy towards underprivileged individuals and communities. It aims to foster a culture of community service by establishing partnerships with institutions and engaging students in meaningful volunteer activities. This promotes a greater understanding of societal issues and encourages students to actively contribute to positive social change.

4. Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation:
The program encourages interdisciplinary collaboration among students and faculty, fostering an environment that values diverse perspectives and promotes innovative approaches to culture and arts education. 5. Celebrate and preserve Filipino cultural heritage:
The program recognizes the importance of promoting and preserving Filipino cultural heritage. It aims to empower students with knowledge and skills to appreciate, preserve, and showcase the rich cultural traditions of the Philippines. By promoting Filipino cultural heritage, students will contribute to the preservation of national identity and promote cultural diversity.

Objective

In accordance with the vision and mission of the College and the Programs VMG, the Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education (based on CMO 75, series of 2017), aims to produce highly committed, innovative, and well-rounded teachers who:

a. Articulate well and discuss at length the latest developments in this specific field of practice. (Philippine Qualifications Framework Level 6 Descriptor)
b. Communicate effectively in spoken and written forms in both English and Filipino.
c. Work effectively independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural settings (PQF Level 6 Descriptor).
d. Act in recognition of professional, social, and ethical responsibility.
e. Preserve and promote “Filipino historical and cultural heritage” (based on RA7722)
