RMMC Strengthens Community Partnerships Through Batch Mabalasik 2024 Immersion Program Community Immersion Program of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges – General Santos (RMMC-GenSan) marked a major milestone in advancing community partnerships and social responsibility through the signing of two Memorandums of Agreement (MOA) on May 25 and 26, 2024. The initiative showcased RMMC’s ongoing commitment to community engagement, education, and public service. The first MOA, signed between RMMC-GenSan’s College of Criminal Justice and Purok Balakayo, aims to strengthen criminology programs and community outreach activities that promote safety and awareness. The second agreement, established with Purok Datal Salvan, further broadens the college’s partnership efforts to foster social development and enhance community resilience. These collaborations provide criminology students with opportunities for experiential learning through internships and hands-on engagement, enabling them to apply their skills in real-world community settings. By integrating education with service, the program reinforces the importance of civic involvement and leadership among future law enforcement professionals. Aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 (Quality Education), 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), the Batch Mabalasik 2024 initiative highlights how academic institutions can play a transformative role in nation-building. Through these partnerships, RMMC-GenSan continues to nurture socially responsible graduates dedicated to upholding justice, peace, and sustainable community development.
