Our programs prepare students to promote wellness, provide quality care, and contribute to the advancement of healthcare in both local and global communities.

VISION

RMMC – COAHS envisions to be recognized as a global leader in producing compassionate, caring, and competent healthcare graduates responsive and adaptive to the evolving healthcare landscape.

Goals and Objectives

To provide holistic educational approaches that addresses the learning needs of students and support academic quality and integrity.

1. Attain excellence and leadership in instruction of the allied health professions responsive to evolving needs of the healthcare system;

2. Create a learning environment where students expand their knowledge, skills, and attitude through evidence-based practice and research;

3. Develop passion and strengthen community extension services;

4. Improve optimal utilization of available resources geared toward self-reliance; and

5. Produce graduates who are caring, morally upright, and responsible to demonstrate professional competence responsive to local, national, and global needs.

BSN

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is a four-year degree program that prepares students to become professional and compassionate nurses capable of providing holistic, evidence-based, and patient-centered care across various healthcare settings.

The curriculum includes general education, core nursing courses, and intensive clinical practice in areas such as medical-surgical nursing, maternal and child health, mental health and psychiatric nursing, community health, and nursing leadership and management. The program also emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention, research, and ethical nursing practice.

Graduates are qualified to take the Nursing Licensure Examination and pursue careers as registered nurses in hospitals, clinics, community health centers, schools, and international healthcare institutions. The program also serves as a strong foundation for advanced nursing practice, research, or graduate studies.

Bachelor of Science in Midwifery

The Bachelor of Science in Midwifery (BSM) is a four-year degree program that prepares students for advanced midwifery practice, leadership, education, and research. It builds upon foundational midwifery knowledge and skills, with emphasis on safe, ethical, and evidence-based care for women, newborns, and families across the reproductive lifespan.

The curriculum includes courses in maternal and child health, reproductive health, community midwifery, family planning, obstetrics and gynecology, neonatal care, as well as public health and primary health care. Students also undergo clinical training in hospitals, birthing facilities, and community health centers.

Graduates are eligible to take the Midwifery Licensure Examination and pursue careers as registered midwives, maternal and child health advocates, clinical instructors, or public health practitioners. The program also provides a pathway to leadership roles in maternal healthcare, education, and research.

Pharmacy

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy

The Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSPharm) is a four-year degree program that trains students in the preparation, dispensing, and proper use of medications. It combines biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences with clinical and practical training to ensure safe, effective, and ethical pharmacy practice.

The curriculum includes courses in pharmacology, pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry, hospital and community pharmacy, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical jurisprudence, and clinical pharmacy. Students also undergo internship programs in hospital, community, industrial, and regulatory pharmacy settings.

Graduates are eligible to take the Pharmacist Licensure Examination and pursue careers as licensed pharmacists in hospitals, drugstores, pharmaceutical companies, regulatory agencies, research institutions, and academia. The program also provides a strong foundation for advanced studies in clinical pharmacy, pharmacology, or pharmaceutical sciences.
