SOCCSKSARGEN Roadshow Unveils 2023–2028 Regional Development Plan The SOCCSKSARGEN Regional Development Plan (SOX RDP) 2023–2028 Roadshow, held on April 3, 2024, at KCC Veranza Mall, General Santos City, showcased the region’s strategic roadmap for achieving inclusive growth and sustainable progress. Organized by the Regional Development Council (RDC) XII and the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) XII, the event aligned with SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities). Gathering over 400 participants from local government units, academia, and various sectors, the roadshow fostered collaboration and active stakeholder engagement. Discussions focused on the plan’s pillars—economic sustainability, infrastructure development, and social welfare—all aimed at creating a resilient and inclusive regional economy. In her message, RDC XII Vice-Chairperson Phlorita A. Ridao emphasized the importance of inclusivity and participatory governance in bridging gaps between policymakers and communities. The event underscored the collective commitment of the region’s leaders and partners to realize the shared vision of a prosperous, sustainable, and forward-looking SOCCSKSARGEN.
