RMMC Participates in CHED XII’s ASEAN 2025 IZN & TNHE Caravan General Santos City, Philippines – Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges, Inc. took part in the Internationalization (IZN) and Transnational Higher Education (TNHE) Caravan & ASEAN 2025 event spearheaded by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office XII on August 8, 2025, held at the Notre Dame of Dadiangas University grounds. Representing RMMC at the event were Dr. Kristoffer Franz Mari R. Millado, EdD, College President; Christian Jay P. Fajartin, MAEd, LPT, International Linkage Coordinator; members of the International Linkage Office staff; Sinag-laya members; selected BCAED and BSBA students; and the RMMC Himig Chorale, who delivered a special performance during the opening ceremony. Centered on the themes of Inclusivity and Sustainability in internationalization and transnational higher education, the initiative reflects the ASEAN 2025 vision and supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—underscoring the shared responsibility of higher education institutions in fostering global cooperation and cultural understanding. The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Dir. Rody P. Garcia, MDM, JD, EdD, Regional Director of CHEDRO XII; Mr. Danstone Guy P. Dayaday, Education Supervisor and IZN Focal Person; Mr. Janreve Odango, IZN Staff; Mr. Felix D. Robles, Forester of DENR XII; along with presidents and representatives from various Higher Education Institutions across General Santos City and the Province of Sarangani. Adding to the event’s significance, messages of support were conveyed by Hon. Deddy Faisal Ahmad Salleh, Consul General of Malaysia in Davao, and Hon. Agus Trenggono, Consul General of Indonesia in Davao City. Both underscored the importance of regional collaboration and the international relevance of initiatives that advance inclusivity and sustainability in higher education.
