Welcome to the BSCE program. The Program Director, Engr. Mark Lehi Palmes, is honored to lead a program that develops the builders and innovators of the future in the dynamic field of engineering. We are committed to equipping our students with a strong foundation in theory, practical applications, and problem-solving skills to meet the demands of todayβs world.
This program provides a curriculum that covers essential areas such as structural engineering, construction materials, transportation systems, geotechnical engineering, water resources, and environmental engineering. More than technical expertise, we emphasize creativity, teamwork, sustainability, and ethical responsibility β ensuring that our graduates are well-rounded professionals who can make meaningful contributions to society.
The BS in Civil Engineering program prepares students to design, plan, and manage infrastructure projects with innovation and integrity. With dedicated faculty, modern resources, hands-on training, and research opportunities, our graduates are ready to build safe, sustainable, and resilient communities. Join us on this path toward becoming a civil engineer who shapes the future.
RMMC Engineering Program envisions to be internationally competent.
The Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges Engineering graduates:
1. Demonstrate professional skills with moral and ethical responsibility in the practice of civil engineering profession.
2. Exhibits awareness on the conservation of the environment, and possess entrepreneurial ability
to contribute to the developmental effort of the community.
RMMC Engineering Program innovates and propagates quality instruction, research and extension; promotes environmental awareness; develops entrepreneurial skills; and provides industry exposure.
Our BSCE program blends rigorous theory with hands-on fieldwork to design, build, and sustain the infrastructure that communities rely on:
Analyze and design safe, efficient buildings, bridges, and other structures.
Assess soil and rock behavior to support foundations, slopes, and earthworks.
Plan and design roadways, transit systems, and traffic operations for mobility and safety.
Model flow, design drainage, flood control, and sustainable water supply systems.
Plan, schedule, estimate, and manage projects from concept to completion.
Apply statics, dynamics, and material behavior to real-world civil systems.
Use total stations, GPS, and GIS for mapping, alignment, and site layout.
Design solutions for water/wastewater treatment, air quality, and sustainable practices.
Evaluate, retrofit, and maintain pavements, bridges, and public works.
Model and document projects using BIM, CAD, and civil design software.
Prepare for licensure with codes, laws, contracts, and ethical responsibility.
