The Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges, General Santos City, through the Research Extension External Affairs and Development Office (REEDO), sent selected internal auditors to ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS) awareness training last January 29 to 31, 2025, at Gensan View Hotel, in Palen, Barangay Apopong, this city.

The internal auditors received inputs from Ms. Ingrid C. Manglapus, the invited resource speaker who gave an overview and the nitty gritty of ISO 21001:2018. As part of the activity, the trainees underwent workshops centering on how an audit is done. Manglapus also gave feedback to make the learning more effective.

Although the school is already accredited by PACUCOA and certified by ISO 9001:2015, this ISO 21001:2018 EOMS is a welcome development focusing on certifying educational institutions nationwide.

Once the school is certified ISO 21001:2018, it will speak volumes of the commitment of RMMC to achieve its vision, mission, and goals and the determination to fulfill the quality service that her community so deserves.
