This program provides a curriculum that covers essential areas such as cataloging and classification, reference and information services, collection management, archives and records management, information technology applications, and research methods. Beyond technical expertise, our program emphasizes information ethics, lifelong learning, communication skills, and service to the community.
The BLIS program equips students to become competent librarians, information officers, archivists, and knowledge managers.
