Bachelor of Science in Social Work

The Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW) is a four-year degree program that prepares students for professional practice in social welfare and community development. It focuses on promoting social justice, human rights, and the well-being of individuals, families, groups, and communities. The curriculum includes courses in social work theory and practice, human behavior and social environment, social welfare policies, case management, community organizing, and research. Field instruction and supervised internships are essential components of the program, providing students with real-world experience in various social work settings. Graduates are qualified to take the Social Work Licensure Examination and pursue careers as registered social workers, case managers, community development officers, child welfare workers, rehabilitation counselors, or advocates in government agencies, NGOs, hospitals, schools, and other institutions.
