Through the freedom of campus journalism, the Finline Publication aims to uphold a level of journalism grounded in truthfulness and integrity. Compelled to adhere to the institution's commitment to developing strong, resilient, dynamic, and adaptable students, The Finline aims to strengthen the spirit of journalism within the institution by nurturing capable journalists to reach their full potential. The Moniker The Finline earned its epithet from the RMMC Bluefins Varsity, the institution's leading frontrunners in sports and socio-cultural activities. Like a proud Bluefin, the Finline is ready to spearhead the enrichment of campus journalism in RMMC. The name is also tied to the rich fishery of General Santos City, popularly known as "The Tuna Capital of the Philippines." Like a tuna traversing the ocean—swift, decisive, and agile—it mirrors RMMC's commitment to nurturing versatile and impactful students. The Finline aims to immerse the RMMC community in a cohesive society bound by excellence, while also proudly integrating the college into the cultural identity of the city.
