RMMC Mindanao Ikat Weaving Studies and Resource Center and Museum The RMMC Mindanao Ikat Weaving Studies and Resource Center and Museum was presented to the participants during the second part of Day 1 of the Capacity Building Program for Prospective Regional Lead Assessors (CBP-RLA) for Backstrap Weaving NC II. This initiative is spearheaded by RMMC Marbel, Inc. and RMMC General Santos, in partnership with TESDA. Serving as the main venue for the training, the center plays a vital role in advancing the professionalization of backstrap weaving by providing a space where qualified candidates can earn the National Certificate (NC) II. This ensures the preservation of cultural heritage while recognizing weaving as a highly skilled profession. The program was attended by distinguished guests, including RMMC MI President, Ma. Andrea Patricia M. Millado, MA, MBA, MPMA; Mr. Alfredo V. Panuela, Assistant Regional Director of TESDA Region XII, representing Regional Director Jerry G. Tizon, JD; Mr. Argie Ryan Asaria, Senior Tourism Operations Officer of South Cotabato; Ms. Barbara Ofong, GAMABA Awardee; Mr. Jennifer Tupas; Mr. Leonardo Rey S.
