RMMC Shines at CASECOMP 2025: Business Students Secure 2nd Place in International Competition The recently concluded 1st Edition of CASECOMP 2025: An Online Competition for Business Students, held on March 4, 2025 at 10 AM UAE Time, was a resounding success. Organized by Hayyakum and the Management Club, School of Business, Skyline University College, Sharjah, UAE, the competition brought together talented business students from higher education institutions across Oman, Malaysia, UAE, India, and the Philippines. One of the esteemed representatives from the Philippines was Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges Inc., General Santos City, which placed 2nd out of the 10 participating teams. The institution was proudly represented by three College of Business Education students: Sherwin B. Ortigosa, Alfred L. Cosares, and Angelie A. Tagose, under the mentorship of Ma’am Mylene Turco. They were also accompanied by Ma’am Cyra Mae Lanestosam, the BSBA Program Director, and the College of Business Education Dean, Dr. Marivic Peñaflor. Their participation was fully supported by Dr. Kristoffer Franz Mari R. Millado, the President; Dr. Geraldine Rodriguez, the Executive Director for Academic Affairs; and Sir Christian Jay P. Fajartin, the International Linkage Coordinator. The CASECOMP 2025 competition aimed to foster teamwork, critical thinking, time management, and innovation among business students from various countries. Participants were challenged to showcase their analytical and problem-solving skills in real-world business scenarios, preparing them for the competitive global business environment. The event also served as an excellent platform for cross-cultural collaboration and knowledge-sharing among future business leaders. The successful execution of the 1st Edition of CASECOMP 2025 marks the beginning of an exciting journey for business students worldwide, encouraging them to excel in strategic decision-making and leadership roles.
