A total of twenty-one (21) Bachelor of Arts in Psychology students traveled from Davao International Airport to Ninoy Aquino International Airport on April 25, 2026, to attend the convention. The delegation was accompanied by their faculty chaperone, Maโam Cresa Johanna Marie F. Garcia, RPm., SAMASIKO Adviser of the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, together with Sir Simon Leo Regner, Secretary of the Student Services Office (SSO). The PAPJA Convention 2026 is scheduled on April 27โ28, 2026, at the SMX Mall of Asia Convention Center and De La Salle University, Manila. The event serves as a platform for psychology students nationwide to engage in academic lectures, workshops, and competitions that support knowledge development, skills enhancement, and professional formation. The participation of RMMC Psychology students reflects the programโs renewed commitment to academic excellence, student engagement, and involvement in national academic initiatives. More importantly, this initiative aligns with the ๐๐๐ ๐: ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, by promoting inclusive and equitable learning opportunities, and ๐๐๐ ๐: ๐๐จ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ-๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ , by strengthening the competencies of future mental health professionals. This milestone was made possible through the support of the College President, Sir Kristoffer Franz Mari R. Millado, Ed.D., whose leadership continues to advance student development initiatives. The delegation also acknowledges Dr. Marichu P. Diendo, RP, RPm., Quality Assurance Director, for her guidance, and Maโam Emelyn E. Orias, MIE, Acting Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, for her continued encouragement of student participation in national platforms. Through this experience, students are able to expand their perspectives, establish professional connections, and further develop their identity as future psychology practitioners. Their participation represents not only their academic preparation but also the values and standards upheld by the institution. This return signals a forward-looking direction for the Psychology program, one that prioritizes growth, academic excellence, and sustained engagement in national academic communities. โ๏ธ: Roger L.
