The first day of the Lunar Calendar, the coming of Spring – the time to usher out the old year and bring forth the luck and prosperity of the new one.

Lunar New Year is the most important festival in China and other East Asian countries. The 15-day-long festivity is crucial as it carries special significance for the year ahead. Each new year is named after one of the 12 animals in the Chinese Zodiac, thus today commences the Year of the Rabbit.
